   This skirt literally stinks of sulfur. Want to make an impression on someone? You will when you smell like an active volcano while wearing this stylish skirt. Seriously, I do not know if it is the dye reacting badly with the artificial fibers, if the finishing agent is the reaction, or if it was doused in sulfur before shipping as a pest control measure. Whatever the source, I made the mistake of thinking it would wash out. It didn’t. Now I have an unwearable skirt.

   My skirt did not have an odor issue. However, it was just a basic skirt in a very thin fabric. Didn’t find it very flattering on me and didn’t think worth the price. I returned it.

   This skirt is light weight, falls beautifully and the pleating in the back give it a perfect fit. It is a great wardrobe neutral staple that can be dressed up with heals and button up blouse for work or dressed down with a t-shirt and sandals for the weekend. I rarely ever take the time to write a review but the posted reviews are simply not fair. The fabric is light but quality and you are paying for the versatility of the design and I think it was worth the price. I also purchased the batiste flirt skirt and am equally as happy with this.

   Very frumpy style. Weird looking elastic smocking on the back waistband that I didn’t like if worn with shirt tucked in. Also length is below knee level enough to up the “frump factor” Also fabric really doesn’t drape into a nice flirty ruffle which I was looking for.

   Maybe this would look better on someone taller with longer legs, but it looks frumpy on me. It runs big, too. I normally wear a 4, ordered the 2 and the 4, and the 2 was even a little big in the waist.

   I wanted a basic skirt for an upcoming trip. I like the swishy fabric, and color is versatile. It runs huge. My normal size 8 was hanging off my hips and very unflattering so I went down to a 6 and it’s perfectly smooth, much more flattering and comfortable around my natural waist. I am average height and 152 lbs. I should not be a size 6.

   Just received this skirt and it’s exactly what I was looking for in a light Summer denim skirt. I ordered a size 2–same height as model and fits as expected. Nice, flowy, and casual. Not sure why the negative reviews but so far it will be one of my go-to skirts for Summer..

   True to size. Yes, the material is thinner than the standard denim, but that means cooler and more comfortable to me in the summer time. I looked a long time for a denim skirt with this cut, as it is more flattering to my figure than the many pencil cut styles that predominate the market now.
