Second year wrestler who wears his shoes off the mat even though I chase him around like a maniac explaining to him that “wrestling shoes are only for the mats” and his mother doesn’t care so there he goes darting across the parking lot like an overly hyperactive hunting dog chasing a squirrel jumping over puddles and my parents never warned me that having kids was so difficult. I just want to watch golf and take a nap. Great shoes though. 10/10 would buy again.

This shoe is at least a size and a half smaller than what the measuring tool suggests. So this is not a true to size shoe.

It’s a kids wrestling show so comfort and style don’t always play a factor, but the red and white combo is pretty great looking. The size piece is worth noting. Children’s feet are certainly a moving target, but we had to order the shoe a full two sizes bigger to get to a size that will likely last through the season. In short: nice shoes, not true to size.

These are sharp looking shoes with the classic high quality you expect from ASICS. I recommend ordering half a size larger than your child’s shoe size. They run small, as do most wrestling shoes.
