I overpronate, but I also have high arches, so I’m a freak of nature. Thus, it’s been nearly impossible finding running or even casual shoes that don’t hurt my knees or or aggravate my pronation. I’ve blown money on all the other big name brands before I finally caved and gave Asics a try. These GT-2000s corrected all this and then some. These are miracle shoes… I can’t explain how, but they did it, using alien tech I’m sure. I’m all in, got a 2nd pair in a different color just in case.
Long story short, if you run, have high arches and overpronate, seriously look no further!

Great support yet light weight. The knit upper was concerning in terms of durability, but after 75+ miles of running on dirty muddy trails they are holding up very well. Great shoe for a 200lb over pronator.

Great fitting shoe, I have an issue with Planters’ fasciitis and this shoe along with the proper insert is VERY comfortable, like walking on air. I use them for the gym and my dailies when I know I’m walking a bit. You get what you pay for.

I’m surprised how GT2000 change from a hard shoe in the past to a soft and shoe with a new stability system. I bought them because I saw ASICS recommend them for walking also and they worked. Good cushion, fits really good (not so tie, not so wide), excellent grip.

The GT2000 is my all time favorite shoe. I have had them all 1thru 10 and some more than one pair. The gt 2000 10 is a better one so now I have 2 pairs.

For a 4E it fits very well. My standard for fit is to compare the fit of the Nike 4E’s as they have historically fit my foot the best. These Asics fit just as well. I was impressed with the fit and the feel of this shoe, in particular, the midsole felt energetic. The color was bland, but so it appears right now this is the only color in a 4E widely available.

Best pair I ever owned. I once paid $160 for sneakers, these out-performed those. Very comfortable to run in: road, gravel or grass. Super stylish, and comforted my foot well when I had a sprain to nurse though. They are not worn out yet after 5 months. Hoping to get 5 more out them.
