My feet are very wide in the toe box. Asics are one of the only brands that fit my feet. Thanks!

These shoes are stiff, and run narrow width – too much so for me, returning for another brand.

Even in the EE width, these feel more like a regular width. They’re just barely wide enough to be comfortable.
Jeff –
looks ok, size was ok, unfortunately it runs narrow. back to the warehouse with this one.

The previous reviewers don’t seem to know what they’re taking about. This is THE only tennis shoe I will buy, I’ve been buying every version for years. These came recommended by my doctor years ago when I struggled with plantar fasciitis, and since I started using them years ago my plantar fasciitis has stayed gone. Don’t listen to these other reviewers (who apparently don’t know their true foot size).

Shoes are too light, provide no arch support.

After wearing the Gel Res 7 for a year and being happy with their performance, I was hesitant to try the next generation. After having worn the Gel Res 8 for 2 months now, I’m happy to say that these are my favorite shoes ever. They do feel slightly heavier than the Gel Res 7, but make up for it in terms of softer, more flexible upper and flexible but responsive outsole, making them feel faster on the court that the Gel Res 7. The best part was there was virtually no break-in time unlike with the Gel Res 7. The Gel Res 8 felt comfortable out of the box. The only negative for these shoes are that they come with shoe laces that are too thin and too short, same as the Gel Res 8. Before I tried these on court, I swapped them out with 1/2″ wide x 59″ long oval shoe laces purchased on Amazon. I do use the last lace eyelet for heel lace locking, so if you don’t do that, you should get shorter laces.

I returned them as it wasn’t clear to me that the upper area of the shoe is basically plastic…synthetic leather. If felt like my foot was going to melt in them and when I walked you actually hear the plastic crinkle as it moves. They felt ok on the sole, but overall, not good.

Best shoes I have found thus far for Pickleball. Play 10 very aggressive hours a week on hard surface. Very supportive and comfortable.

It’s a decent shoe; but the gel 7s were perfect, I dont know why they changed! The toebox and the heel arent as comfortable and snug; just don’t feel as stable. Luckily I bought a few pairs of the 7; hope they come back before I wear them all out.

These shoes are PLASTIC! They call it man-made leather but it is just a solid shell of plastic
Franco C –
Great support and cushioning. I only wish It offered a higher ankle support, specifically on the heel, as sometimes the heel comes off the shoe because of my power step insoles.

Too small and tight in toe box

I really wanted to like these shoes. However, I tried my usual size 9 1/2 but I couldn’t get my foot in. So I ordered a 9 1/2 wide. I was able to get them on but they were tight across the arch so I ordered a 10 wide. They were also too tight across the arch. The shoe has these two straps with zero give under the laces which are the cause of my problem so this pair is going back too. The shoes are super light and look great. I wish they worked for me.

The fit was perfect for me. I read that the shoes ran a little narrow, so I ordered a 12 EE and I’m usually a 12 E. However, the fit was perfect and I’ve played in them three times already. My feet don’t hurt after playing , so the support is great.

Happy with the shoe. Good support. Pretty comfortable.
Bob C –
Gorgeous shoe, and super comfortable-better than I anticipated! Pointed my toes downward putting them on, thereby avoiding the strap that stretches across the tongue. Will definitely be buying these from now on.

Excelente producto. Buena calidad y buenos colores
Deckert60 –
I’m very happy with how comfortable these shoes are and how well they grip the outdoor Pickleball court.
Hardtennis –
The best tennis shoes in the market! Confortable and amazing support.
Shermancmx –
Great shoes for intense movement. Heel Color inaccurate and shows a little pinkish but I don’t mind. Wider tongue than djokovic shoes. Slightly less ankle support but still cushy without being too soft for quick change of directions. Perfect.

Thanks for making a 2E wide tennis sneaker – clay court shoe next please?!?!
Amazing S –
Most comfortable shoe out there and performs at the top. Make sure to get the wide version if you have any hesitation or if you run your own insoles

I play tennis 2 to 3 times a week. These are the best tennis shoes I’ve found, and I’ve tried and liked Adidas, New Balance, and K- Swiss as well. The sole and gel insert are incredibly comfortable and form-fitting with a lot of arch support, and they last a long time. They’re also light, breathable, and maneuverable. This is my 3rd pair.
