Really cute in the picture. In reality they feel and look like bricks on your feet. Very uncomfortable, hard, and boxy. Length was true to size.
Deborah –
Very stiff shoe, could barely get it on.
Tennis P –
Love these shoes. Reminder they run a little small and a bit narrow but that’s works for me just fine. Nice support snd durability. A bit expensive though.

Lowered heel to toe ratio caused achilles pain
Terrible
Ct81 –
Hard, not cloth but plastic body shoe. They are pretty stiff and run small and tight

I wear a 10 and my foot is a bit wide. When I first tried on the shoe it felt very tight. I almost returned them. I was desperate so I wore them 2 times on a clay tennis court and after that they molded to my feet. They are very comfortable, super cute and provide excellent support and traction on clay. Be patient because you may have to break them in but so worth it.

You’ll pay some money for these, but by replacing them regularly I’ve avoided plantar fasciitis. Also, they provide super support and stability for lateral moves on the tennis court.

Love the look and feel of these shoes. They are different than any other ASICS I have purchased. They have no cloth on them and look like they should stay clean and be easily cleanable. They are comfortable- not as narrow as some of my other ASICS. Wearing them as a nurse for 12+ hours a day.

Length was fine, but these run narrow.

I’m not one to purchase and return things. So I did a lot of research and I decided on these Bc I’m an avid pickleball player and needed a good grip. The grip was great but the over all comfort gets nothing. The tongue is sewed to the line of the shoe. There are four spots to two bilateral area where friction from material causes me irritation. I’m disappointed Bc I was hoping to buy more of these shoes if it was comfortable.

This shoe is pretty stiff, not flexible and a bit narrow for medium width.

You have NON in stock in sizes 8-8 1/2 in ANY style of Tennis shoe. NONE.
Not at your website not in any store and even on line at other venues.
You need to figure out how to get people like me informed when they first come out.
I am now getting your emails but to me they are a waste of my time because you have NOTHING except size 5.

I am committed to Gel Resolution tennis shoes and have worn them exclusively for years for hard courts. Thought I’d try the clay court shoe. The same size was exceedingly tight. They looked and felt like a cheaper version of ASICS. Very unusual.

If you have plantar fasciitis, this shoe is very good as it is stiff and supports the foot from bending too much. As the reviews said they run about 1/2 size small, so I ordered a 9.5 when I am normally a 9. Overall they are comfortable, not bad looking and the heel feels fine. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because there are 2 straps that go across the tongue that are apart of the lace up, that are tight. They verge on being a little uncomfortable, but the firm support of the rest of the shoe, I could snip this if I really needed to. Still deciding if I’ll keep as I also got the Hoka Bondhi 7. They are not as snug, but with the fat bottom it is as stiff.

Too tight

I have been wearing Gel Resolutions for years, just get the next years model every time.. The newest model is very comfortable, but I hate the addition of the non stretchy criss cross straps over the laces. Doesn’t seem to bother my friends but I have 2 pairs of these and have cut that off both pairs.

Great tennis shoe!!! 2nd pair I have bought and they are my favorite tennis sneakers over any other brands and models!!
KarenPY –
Excelent! But it runs a on the narrower size and it feels a bit heavy.
EdeB –
Maybe I ordered the wrong size, but the bottom of the nail bed of my right big toe is scraping against the top of the shoe. The footbed seems unusually shallow compared to earlier versions of the Gel Res 8. I switched to KSwiss during the pandemic because I could not find any ASICS, which are by far the best and my most favorite tennis shoe. I always wore them until I couldn’t find them. So when I saw these for sale recently, I pounced!!! And am really disappointed.
Also, I dislike the tongue of the shoe it’s sewn in and doesn’t move. Sorry.
