I am flat-footed and over-pronate severely. I loved the GEL-Kayano 27s. They were the best stability shoe I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried them all. In the GEL-Kayano 29s my feet feel like they’re rolling off the shoe with every step. Already returned the 29s and I’m going back to the New Balance 860s. I don’t understand why Asics would make their best stability shoe less stable. Still a quality shoe and I can tell they are more cushioned and responsive than the 27s, just clearly not for me.

Im a die hard Asics Kayano fan because I have over pronation and Im obese. I dont think theres another shoe on the market today that rivals these new Kayano 29’s for cushioning and support!

I usually wear Brooks because they’ve been great for me throughout the years. However, for my size 12 extra wide flat feet they seem to only have boring colors like black/grey. I’m on my feet for the majority of the day for work so great cushioning is a must have for me. I’m so thankful to have a pair of shoes that provides great cushioning plus gel. I will be getting more in different colors.

Been a gel-kayano fan since 2015 and have run all my distance runs with them. My long skinny size 15 feet love them….BUT THIS IS THE BEST VERSION EVER. Finally the fit is perfect and literally feels like running on air though I know I have more support on the sides and at the heal than ever before. I just bought another pair. I keep 4 in rotation. Bravo

Asics has always produced high quality shoes and Kayano 29 follows in that tradition. Great cushioning and stable support. I walk 13 miles a day in my business and my feet feel fine after a long day.

The sneaker has a niceeeee fit, the shoe box is comfortable enough where my feet don’t feel like it’s being pinched or squeezed to death. I bought another sneaker brand, same size, width and I didn’t get the same fit as with these Asics. Cost more, I would consider buying another pair or wait for a sale to add more to my closet.

To me this shoe feels as cushioned as the nimbus but lighter over all. Slightly more room in the toe box as well if you are prone to swelling after extended road running. I’ve tried nimbus, cumulus, gt 1000/2000, and a few others. This has been the best performer as far minimizing damage to my feet. It’s a solid shoe.
