Workaholic –
Best shoes for long time standing or walking job. The cushion helps me not have pain on my legs and knees. Also, I like the width around toes and no shoe lace. The only one thing I can say bad about this shoes is I got scratched my shoe around my ankles. If i wear longer socks, it’s no problem
Gard –
Very comfortable and good quality! My son has plantar fasciitis (9 years old) and ever since he started wearing these shoes he’s foot pain has discipated.
Kaligirl023 –
These are nice shoes except for the opening. The elastic opening eats the back of your ankle if you do not wear high enough socks. Also they run a little small.
Jan –
These are not the normal Asic Gel Kayano. They are the slip in kind and if you have any problems with the top of your feet…these are not the right ones for you.
Jordan28 –
Absolutely love these shoes, the ankle support is amazing!
Jane –
It was comfortable but not firm enough for my feet!
Fit R –
I Love them! Definitely recommend them for running and training.

First time I got a knit fabric shoe with the tongue attached like this. I had high hopes, and kept trying (wore for a week), but must return. I’ve worn Asics (gel nimbus) for years, as I have an extended size (13) and they offer some in my size. I got this because it was the one available in my size. And I tried to make it work. But they hurt the bottom of my foot and the heel. I’m going back to my the gel-nimbus. It’s always hard for me to buy new shoes because, while Asics makes the extended size, they have become extremely limited in colors/styles. So I’ll wear the old ones (from last June) again, until I find the right pair.

Cannot get my foot in these! I have high arches, and high insteps. There is no tongue on these so I was not able to stretch them enough to get my foot in. Too much work – these are cute but going back!
KRis –
Good quality but I returned as too tight on top of foot!
KevinKamo –
Good shoes – better than 27. Arrived on time, without any issues.

I have been a long time loyal gel kayano runner. Their mono sock version tore up my ankles – I did two runs on them and my entire ankle was bloody. I had to take my old sneakers back out as there were too painful to run in. The issue isn’t even the sock – there is a sneaker piece that goes up the ankle that even with a sock rubs your sock down and tears up your ankles. Never again!

Doesn’t play well with orthotic inserts, too hard to get them in and out with the elastic collar.
DG R –
please go back to the 26 or 27, the 28 gave me terrible blisters on the side of the ball of my foot – never had this problem with Kayano before – can’t run in them – using my old worn down 27 now
Tiffany –
Great fit & style. Love the elastic around the ankle.
W Z –
Very uncomfortable for standing work, wish I could return.

It’s too hard to get into with the knit liner. I brought them on vacation and they are my only pair. My toes went to sleep and I struggle to get them on.
Tollbear –
I LOVE these shoes! They have a connected mesh tongue that really holds your feet snug and secure in the shoes, I barely need to lace them up! This is my second pair.

The fit is ok but to hard on the ankle, it will cause blister because is to tight. They look good but uncomfortable on the ankle.
Erika V –
Super comfy sneakers. Love how they don’t hug my ankle so tightly.
Krff –
The additional elastic band at the top above around the ankle and heel has caused a lot of rubbing, irritation, and pain on my back heel. I will not buy this type of ASICS again.
Anachronism –
This pair is unlike a previous pair of Kayano MKs that were styled with a regular movable tongue. I wasn’t expecting the slip-on style under the laces. Perhaps I misread the description. Since my “experienced feet” differ in size, I don’t find the stretchy tongue comfortable on one foot.

Oh my, I am so sad. These shoes are such a beautiful color but they don’t fit. I love ASICS and have bought several pairs before, most of which I fit well. these have a really squishy soul which I love but there’s this “sleeve“ around the ankle that you have to slip your foot through. I have a really big part from the top of my foot where it meets my leg, to the Back of my heel. Because of this the sleeve was too tight and cut off my circulation and I had to return the shoes. Whaaaaa!

I was very surprised with the tongue on this shoe–it is a stretchy piece of fabric, which makes it difficult to get the shoe on (it takes me two hands two pull the laces apart, and then I need a third hand to push my heel into the shoe, as the entry is tight. The “tongue” is also not padded, so the top of my foot is sore from the pressure of the laces. That being said, however, the stretchy non-tongue does help hold the shoe in place once I’ve got it on, and the shoes have good cushioning and stability. Even so, I would not have bought them if I understood how difficult the entry point into the shoe was constructed.

I ham currently wearing a kayano 28 I bought 6 month ago which I love.
I decided to invest and get this one. It did not fit as my previous one. The opening is different, it is like wearing a socks. This did not work for even though I had every intention to keep it. Returning it.
