I just completed the Wisconsin Ironman in monsoon weather. I called all the local biking stores before the event to find a water proof jacket. No store had one but recommended going to a running store and I found this coat.
It was 55 and rainy the entire time of the race. I was on my bike for over 8 hours in the rain with wind gusts up to 20mph. Bikers were having to stop because they were getting hypothermia. (24% of participants didn’t finish the race.) However, I stayed dry and my core stayed warm. Worth every penny and am glad I made the decision to get this coat so I didn’t end up with a DNF and can say I’m an Ironman.
I’m also excited to use this coach during cross country season when I’m out in the elements as a coach. Thanks so much for keeping me dry!
